The Adyen Retail Report

Adyen is the payments platform of choice for many of the world's leading companies, from eBay and Netflix to Uber and McDonald’s. The Adyen Retail Report is the brand’s biggest annual content project, and considered a vital item for year-round sales and marketing activities.

The Retail Report unpacks the findings of four missioned datasets (economic, merchant, consumer, and Adyen platform data), exploring the latest payment trends, consumer behaviours, and business opportunities for retailers around the world. The report is published across 23 markets spanning Europe, North America, South America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

In 2022 I was responsible for writing the core global report, and creating a content toolkit for all local markets to use in their localisation activities. This included building a template for report copy localisations, sourcing and conducting interviews for customer quotes, and writing the copy for the core report, digital campaign assets, and sales enablement assets. We also created subvertical deep-dive reports for local market ABM campaigns, such as the Luxury Retail Report.

In 2023 and 2024 I was responsible for overseeing the production of the APAC Retail Report, which included project and stakeholder management across 6 markets, content writing and localisation, social media copy, and sales enablement and ABM asset creation.

For all Retail Report projects I worked closely with my Adyen Design counterparts and our wonderful PR and comms agency, Brands2Life.
