Optus Business needed to change its brand perception from a traditional telecommunications company to a leader in advanced ICT solutions for enterprise businesses. I owned the end-to-end process of content creation for the Optus Accelerate Blog to help position Optus Business as a thought leader and trusted technology partner.

Results:

  • Reach - Up to 11,000 unique page views weekly.

  • Dwell Time - Visitors spent more than 4 mins on the site on average.

  • Building a Community - in March 2018 84% of the total audience were new; in September 2018 48% of website traffic was from returning visitors.

  • Regular Cadence - 8-12 articles published monthly.

  • Campaign Support - Content supported key business campaigns, including Commonwealth Games sponsorship, Cisco Live, and Game Changer campaigns.

  • Momentum & Longevity - Customer case studies and existing materials embedded within content to extend value and reach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing article ideas and content calendars, pitching to client, and collaborating with key stakeholders to align with wider business goals every month.

  • Conducting interviews with subject matter experts and undertaking in-depth research on complex topics, from cloud computing to artificial intelligence.

  • Regularly writing and ghost writing high quality, long form articles and case studies on a wide range of technology topics in a consistent tone of voice.

  • Writing and producing interviews and scripts for video content.

  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients on supporting social media, eDM, infographic, digital banner, and PR materials.
